Numismatic Memberships

It is important for investors and collectors to transact business with reputable rare coin and precious metals dealers.  The best method for ascertaining reputation is by the numismatic memberships of the dealer.  National Coin Broker maintains several numismatic memberships:

Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) With more than 20 million coins graded commanding a total value over $20 billion, PCGS represents the industry standard in third-party certification.
The American Numismatic Association is a nonprofit educational organization dedicated to educating and encouraging people to study and collect money and related items.  With nearly 33,000 members, the Association serves the academic community, collectors and the general public with an interest in numismatics. Florida United Numismatists (FUN) In the fall of 1955, a small group of coin collectors and dealers met in Clearwater, Florida at the Fort Harrison Hotel to organize a state-wide association of numismatists.  Ross Baldwin is a lifetime member.
Industry Council For Tangible Assets (ICTA) is the national trade association for all who have an interest in precious metals, rare coins, US and foreign currency, and other numismatic and tangible assets.
Texas Numismatic Association (TNA) To promote and advance interest and comprehensive knowledge of numismatics; to cultivate friendly relations among fellow collectors; to hold periodic meetings and exhibits; to provide a place and time to buy, sell, and trade numismatic items; and to serve its members collectively, not individually.
The North American Collectibles Association (NACA) is a for-profit organization, formed in 1983 by Dennis Steinmetz, to ensure the advancement of numismatics and related collectibles, including coins, currency, watches, antique jewelry, and more.
Paper Money Guaranty (PMG) was founded in 2005. Its opening heralds the introduction of a new standard of integrity in the industry for note grading. PMG focuses on only one objective, a standard of consistent and accurate grading.
Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) was founded in 1987, and for coin grading, its opening heralded the introduction of a new standard of integrity. From the beginning NGC focused on only one objective, a standard of consistent and accurate grading.
Certified Coin Exchange is a sight-seen/unseen, rule-governed trading system for coin dealers. Since 1990, Certified Coin Exchange (CCE) has been a key intermediary in U.S. certified rare coin trading between major coin dealers. Our messaging system (CCE/FACTS) is currently the largest dealer-to-dealer numismatic network on the Internet. # RB6
California State Numismatic Association (CSNA) is dedicated to the promotion of numismatic study and to bringing California’s coin collecting community together with informative programs of interest.  Ross Baldwin is a member in excellent standing.
American Numismatic Society (ANS) The American Numismatic Society is an organization dedicated to the study of coins, currency, medals, tokens, and related objects from all cultures, past and present. The Society’s headquarters in New York City has the foremost research collection and library specialized in numismatics in the United States.
Carson City Coin Club They have new features, including a discussion board, a “contact us” page, and a news and articles section all devoted to Carson City Coinage# RM-0502
The Central States Numismatic Society (CSNS), founded in 1939, is one of the larger numismatic organizations in the United States with membership fluctuating around 2,000. CSNS, as it is known informally, operates in a 13 state Midwestern region but membership is open to residents of all states and foreign countries. Life membership # L-920
